I Added Seasonal Effects to Mymarble
On a recent trip to the countryside, I found myself admiring the falling leaves.
And these days, when I take walks with my wife, we often see ginkgo leaves scattered along the park path.
When the sunlight hits those golden leaves, I can’t help but think they’re truly beautiful.

Because Mymarble is a game designed for children, I couldn’t add flashy or overly stimulating effects.
Especially since I’m building this together with my daughter, Eunbyeol, wholesomeness has always been the top priority.
Maybe that’s why the game sometimes felt a bit too simple, and I wanted to improve that part.
That’s when the idea suddenly came to me:
“What if I added seasonal effects to the gameplay?”
As soon as the idea hit, I began searching online for reference images.
I even tried generating a bunch with AI, but none of them reached the quality I wanted.
So in the end, I decided: “I’ll just draw them myself.”

I mainly use Figma for the illustrations.
And for development, I follow what’s trending these days—vibe coding.
One thing that’s changed recently is that I now give extremely detailed instructions and make sure to thoroughly review everything.
How to structure the classes, what functions to include…
Even when I explain it all clearly, things still get missed sometimes, so a careful review process is essential.
After all that effort, here are the results.
A huge thank-you to everyone who gave me feedback! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
